Paintings

LaParlière’s paintings are usually bold and vibrant. However, when she is commissioned to do work her style will vary to adapt to the taste of the client and can be figurative and even whimsical.

LaParlière is “still” intrigued by Impressionism, Post-Impressionism and the Nabis style. She enjoys the art of Wolf Khan because of the unique light and color in his work which is described as a combination of ”pictorial landscape and painterly abstraction.”

Murals

LaParlière’s murals decorate houses with scenes from nature, history and family stories.
She also uses trompe l’oeil to add the appearance of new and enchanting spaces to a client’s home.
In hospitals and other public buildings, patients and visitors have their day brightened
by Maryvonne’s gorgeous decorative murals

Fresco Style

Laparlière transforms lackluster wall spaces with her own fresco style and also uses that technique on wood to create plaques and wall hangings

Painted Tiles & Marble

Yes…Those tiles and marble look real, but… are actually painted on wood, canvas or concrete!
